San Miguel Releases First-Ever ‘Plant-Based’ Food Packs

Veega Meat-Free meals use plant-based proteins with no preservatives added!

During the quarantine, many food brands released their own ready-to-cook food packs and kits of some of their best selling items.

There’s the breakfast kit from McDonald’s which features their well-known hotcakes, Jollibee’s ready-to-cook packs with their popular ChickenJoy, and even Bad Bird which features their best-selling Umami Fried Chicken. (Read: 3 Restaurants That Have Ready-To-Cook Packs of Their Bestsellers)

But despite the various choices for ready-to-cook meals and packs from different restaurants and food establishments, there aren’t many options for vegetarians or those who are on a meat-free diet. (Read: 5 Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurants That Deliver Food at Your Doorstep)

Good thing, San Miguel Foods has recently launched the Veega, their first-ever meat-free line that is perfect for vegetarians. Veega uses plant-based substitutes for the meat usually intended for the meals they sell. The ready-to-eat products from Veega use soy, wheat, spices, mushroom, and egg whites, and has no preservatives added!
