LIST: Metro Manila Hospitals With Available COVID ICU Beds

ICUs are for patients with moderate, severe, and critical COVID-19 cases.

Yesterday, April 5, the Philippines recorded 8,355 COVID-19 cases, allowing the total count to reach over 800,000 already. Despite this alarming number of new cases, previous days have had higher numbers, with one even reaching 15,000. This resulted in hospitals getting the brunt of it all— both their human resources and facilities.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), 14 out of 21 hospitals in Metro Manila have almost reached the full capacity of their Intensive Care Unit (ICU). (Read: What is the difference between MECQ, GCQ, and MGCQ?)

“‘Yung matataas na level na ospital ay malapit na talaga sa 100 percent ng paggamit. Pero ‘yung Level 1 hospitals ay meron kama na pwede i-accommodate ang mga pasyente,” said DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire.

With this in mind, Filipinos all have the same question in mind: Where can patients experiencing COVID-19 manifestations be brought to? My Pope Philippines lists all the hospitals in Metro Manila that can still accommodate patients with severe symptoms!
