Like the annual Lantern Parade and Oblation Run, the University of the Philippines (UP) Fair is an eagerly anticipated event organized by the state university. Live performances by the hottest local bands are the main attraction of the yearly affair that includes food and beverage booths and amusement-park rides.
Traditionally held on a Tuesday night, this year’s UP Fair (called “Tumindig sa Himig”) is slated on Monday night, February 10 at the UP Sunken Garden, Diliman, Quezon City, and will culminate on the evening of Saturday, February 15.
Each night not only features an array of exciting musical acts, it also highlights a specific advocacy. How very UP!
