Here are the updated routes of free shuttle services around Metro Manila

You can also track free transportation services through your smartphones!

With the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) still in place in Metro Manila, Laguna, and Cebu, public transport is still non-operational. Free transportation services are only available for workers employed in essential services and businesses such as hospitals, groceries, and manufacturing. However, the free transportation service has a daily schedule.

To help commuters track vehicles providing free transportation service, Sakay.ph—an app that helps commuters get around the metro—has partnered with the Pasig local government unit (LGU). Through the app, commuters will be able to track the location of the 40 to 50 vehicles offering transportation to essential workers, including the estimated time the vehicles will arrive at the pickup location.

“Users can now see exactly where buses are, so they can avoid waiting in line for too long and getting exposed to possible infection,” said Kenneth Yu, Sakay.ph co-founder.

Aside from monitoring Pasig vehicles, the app is also capable of monitoring the free shuttle services provided by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) through its GPS tracking.
