Whenever we want to stay in and chill, films are usually a source of comfort. And though it depends on what mood you’re in, a feel-good romantic comedy is usually a top pick.
Good thing, Netflix has a lot of those in their catalog– with new additions, too! The streaming service recently announced that the final installment of “The Kissing Booth” trilogy will air on August 11, a timely addition if you want a relaxing movie marathon with friends, family, or even by yourself. “It all started with a kiss”
The movie series, which literally started with a kiss, is based on the novels of the same name written by Beth Reekles.
Following the events of the second film, Elle (Joey King) has to make the tough decision of whose heart to break. Will she be breaking her boyfriend, Noah’s (Jacob Elordi) heart by not moving cross-country for college, or will she have to crush her best friend, Flynn’s (Joel Courtney) heart by breaking the promise they made when they were still children?
It also stars Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Meganne Young, and Molly Ringwald, who were also in the second installment of the trilogy. (Read: 9 Romantic Movies Coming to Netflix This July)
