How to keep your cool when traffic feels like forever

Welcome to the Philippines, where transportation is not just a means to get to work (or school) but an actual battlefield. Recently, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) imposed a new rule in EDSA, wherein provincial buses are no longer allowed to load and unload passengers in areas other than their own terminal stations. Not only did this new rule create confusion among motorists, it also attracted bad moods and lots and lots of stress from commuters.

But don’t worry, there are methods to keeping a cool head during a long commute–especially in EDSA! Here are the My-Pope-approved ways for dealing with traffic:
