LOOK: Solenn’s Baby Food Recipes Will Make You Want to Be a Kid Again

Not only are they healthy, but they're also IG-worthy!

Admittedly, babies can be hard to feed. Oftentimes, they will throw tantrums, cry, and even make a mess on the table if they don’t like the food. This especially rings true when we try to feed them vegetables, because— let’s face it— those greens aren’t exactly the most appetizing to look at and they don’t really taste like anything.

But moms nowadays are finding new ways to make their kids eat their greens and fruits. Whether it’s through teaching them the importance of eating the good stuff or incorporating it into much tastier dishes, parents are becoming more creative when it comes to feeding their children healthier food. For Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff-Bolzico, the second option is the way to go. In fact, the new mom has been sharing on her Instagram the recipes for the food she prepares for baby Thylane. It also helps that Solenn’s brother Erwan (who also had his and Anne Curtis’ baby this year) is a chef and knows some handy tricks to feed babies their veggies!

Here are three of the most mouthwatering dishes Solenn prepares for baby Tili.

Everyone, from young to old, loves potatoes. It’s versatile (mashed potato, french fries, hashbrown, you name it!) healthy, and delicious — no wonder baby Tili loves it!

So to add even more nutrients to it, Solenn mixes her potatoes with salmon for a dose of protein and some cream cheese. And of course, she doesn’t forget to add the greens— for this recipe, Solenn uses broccoli!

This specific meal, according to Solenn, was inspired by Erwan and Anne. She even captioned the photo saying, “@erwan and @annecurtissmith giving Tili major food cravings.” (Read: 3 Peanut Butter Alternatives for Baking and Eating)

The dish is simple: avocado with tahini (a condiment made with sesame seeds) and some grilled chicken with greek yogurt. One of her followers commented, “Even adults would crave that! With just a tad more salt”— we definitely agree!

Baby Food Recipes by Solenn: French Toast with Apple Blueberry Dip

Babies love a good breakfast, especially after a sound sleep the previous night. And surely, Tili had a great morning when her mommy Solenn served her french toast! The french toast actually has cream cheese and has an apple blueberry dipping sauce on the side. It actually sounds a bit like having apple blueberry cheesecake in the morning; sign us up!

Solenn’s recipe can be found here.
