3 Savory Recipes That Use Fruits as Main Ingredient

It may sound weird right now, but trust us, they taste good!

Whenever we have fruits at home, we would always eat it as is, or sometimes use it as an ingredient for desserts. And that’s probably because fruits are mostly sweet which is the perfect flavor for desserts like cakes and ice creams.

It may sound weird right now, but trust us, savory dishes with fruits as the main ingredient are really good. That’s why we’re giving you three sample recipes that you should try at home!

Blueberry Glazed Ribs

We are used to blueberry being used for ice cream, cheesecakes, or waffles. But it can actually be used as a glaze for meat! So here’s a recipe for that.

* 1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
* 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
* 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
* Salt
* 4 racks baby back ribs
* 4 tbsps unsalted butter
* 2 sage sprigs
* 8 thyme rigs
* 1 medium onion
* 2 large garlic cloves
* 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
* 2 cups blueberry syrup
* 1 tsp hot sauce

Plum-Sauced Pork Tenderloin

Plum is usually just eaten as is or used as a sahog in salad or dessert. But this recipe calls for plum as a main ingredient for the sauce!

For pork tenderloin:
* 2 tbsps oil
* 1.5 lb pork tenderloin, boneless
* Salt and pepper, to taste

For the plum sauce:
* 5 plums, cubed
* 3 tbsps balsamic vinegar
* 4 tbsps honey

* 3 tbsps coconut oil
* 1/8 tsp salt
