Pia Wurtzbach, Boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey to Host Online Fundraiser

The power couple will be live online today, July 15 at 8 p.m. The proceeds of the event will be used to help environmental frontliners and other communities.

Aside from keeping each other company during the quarantine period, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach and CEO boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey have also been active in joining philanthropic causes—one of the many things that they both love to do.

For the past years, the couple has been working closely with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) individually. Jeremy has been a WWF-US ambassador since 2018, while Pia has recently contributed her efforts towards WWF-Philippines’ “Supporting The Lives of Those Who Support Ours” campaign.

Today, July 15, catch the power couple as they host the latest episode of “Digital Fundraising Hour,” a live program organized by the WWF Philippines. The program will be streaming at 8 p.m. in the Philippines on WWF-Philippines’ official Facebook page. For those from the US, catch the livestream at 8 a.m. The proceeds of the event will be used to help WWF Philippines’ environmental frontliners and partner communities.

In the one-hour livestream, Jeremy and Pia will be discussing the essence of sustainability and how we can practice it at home. They will also share tips and techniques on how everyone can do their part for the planet. (Read: Here’s Why You Must Try Urban Gardening, According to Miss PH Earth 2020)

The fundraising event was originally launched as a series of physical mall events headlined by WWF-PH ambassadors and advocates. But with the threat of COVID-19 pandemic in the country, WWF-Philippines has shifted the campaign to its digital platforms.

WWF Philippines will be holding more online campaigns, programs, and events in the months to come. For future announcements, complete lineup, and schedule, visit WWF Philippines’ official Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram. You can also use the hashtag #ChangeTheEnding for more information.
