Netflix, Grab PH to Deliver 1,500 Free Bouquets on Valentine’s Day

The blooms will be sourced from Manila's flower haven, Dangwa Market!

In 2020, we’ve all been patrons of delivery apps, couriers, and other delivery and pabili services for our needs. That’s because the quarantine has made it harder for us to do the most basic of errands like going out to buy necessities, and buying food for lunch.

Even now that the quarantine restrictions have partly eased down and businesses are reopening for walk-in customers, many are still scared of going out and risking infection. Hence, it is expected that many will continue to celebrate special occasions like Valentine’s Day in their own homes or in distance mode. This is why many special deals are popping up for Valentine’s Day that encourages everyone to celebrate the day despite the distance and isolation. One of these is from the Philippine Association ng mga Kupido (PAK), in partnership with Netflix!

Bringing Dangwa to Your Doorstep

As a special treat on Valentine’s Day, Netflix is teaming up with PAK — a group of “Cupids” who wish to keep the love alive amid the pandemic— in providing 1,500 free bouquets to residents of Metro Manila and Cebu! (Read: The flower arranger who found love where she least expected it)

It is a collaboration that will not just benefit long-distance relationships, but also local sellers— as the bouquets of flowers will be sourced from Manila’s flower haven and go-to-market for the freshest blooms, Dangwa Market!

Netflix and PAK have also teamed up with Grab Philippines in delivering the flowers straight to their recipients’ doorsteps. The riders will dress up as adorable “Netflix cupids” (complete with wings and a love-seeking arrow!) to give a personal touch and kilig factor to the awesome surprise. Netflix is now accepting orders for their free bouquet promo! Interested clients may place their orders through the instadangwa.com website.

Hurry up, though! The offer is good until supplies last. The bouquets will be delivered anytime from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM on February 13 and 14.
