3 Filipino Films to Make Netflix Premiere in August

Have your well-deserved "me time" with these upcoming tearjerker films on Netflix!

For almost five months, the Philippines’ fierce lockdown continues, despite its uncertain benefits. Clearly, the country hasn’t been able to flatten the curve with more than 85,000 cases of the coronavirus as of writing. With everything happening, it seems like every day we wake up to another bad news, but not today. 

No one is immune from the stress or disappointment caused by the current pandemic and everything happening in the country. That is why it is very important to give yourself a break from all of it. There are a lot of things you can do to destress during quarantine, you can learn new hobbies such as painting or dancing. But if you’re too exhausted, you can just watch a movie.

Synopsis: Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon is Nestor Abrogena Jr. ‘s follow up for his 2015 film Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa. The film tells the story of ex-lovers-turned-friends Sam and Isa who found themselves pulled back into each other’s worlds. Five years after their break-up, they tried to find romance for themselves but found nothing but the pain of being in love with someone else whom they can never have.
