Here’s What to Expect From Nadine Lustre’s ‘Wildest Dreams’ Album

The album drops on October 31—Nadine’s birthday!

Nadine Lustre’s debut album is here! Well, almost. The actress-singer is just days away from releasing her debut album Wildest Dreams under the indie label, Careless Music Manila.

After sharing updates about her new project throughout 2020, Nadine finally shared a preview of her upcoming album by releasing her title track and lead single, “Wildest Dreams,” last October 16. The album will be Nadine’s return to music after the success of her 2018 single “St4Y Up” and 2019 collaboration with rapper Ruby Ibarra, “No 32.”

Wildest Dreams is expected to drop on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms on October 31—Nadine’s birthday! (Read: Revisiting Adele’s Previous Albums as We Await the New One) So while we wait for the release of Nadine’s album, here’s a rundown of what fans could expect from it!

Wildest Dreams Will Be a Visual Album

In one of her online media press conferences for the album, Nadine revealed that Wildest Dreams will be a visual album—meaning, the songs in the album will be accompanied by a series of videos or a single film featuring Nadine. “It took us one month to shoot everything, we were shooting every two days,” she said.

In an interview, Nadine shared that her upcoming album features deeply personal tracks that Nadine wrote based on her personal experiences. She describes the songs as “dream-themed” and assures her fans that “everything [she] did in the album is 110%.”

In another interview, Nadine shared that fans will get to see her vulnerable side in the album. (Read: 5 Ways to Break Up With Your Past Self) “I really had to show vulnerability in this album and to write about personal experiences as well,” she said.

According to the actress-singer, a song from the album titled “Save A Place” tells a story about a long-lost loved one. Other tracks such as “Gray Skies” and “Natural” also shed light on how challenges are inevitable in a person’s growth.
