After more than a year of not being able to, movie buffs can now resume watching much-anticipated films in actual cinemas and theaters and not just online or on streaming platforms! This sci-fi movie directed by Denis Villenueve started to be shown in Philippine cinemas on November 10. The cast includes Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, and Jason Momoa, among others.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage
One of Marvel’s most complex heroes returns to the big screen on December 8 with “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”. Tom Hardy reprises his role as journalist Eddie Brock who tries to live a “normal” life with and protect Venom, an alien symbiote. But a new villain, Carnage, will be disrupting their lives. A Quiet Place 2
The well loved post-apocalyptic thriller movie A Quiet Place’s sequel finally hit Manila theaters on November 10 after its premiere in the United States in May. In the movie, the Abbott family once again ventures into the outside world with a newborn baby. You shouldn’t miss this sequel as it’s sure to be a great movie, given it earned $48 million on its opening weekend!
Health and Safety Protocols
Here are some safety protocols that malls with operating cinemas will be following.
- Moviegoers must present a valid and original proof of vaccination with two complete doses (i.e., vaccination card).
- No eating inside the cinema.
- Seating will be socially-distanced. Moviegoers will be seated two seats apart.
- Patrons must wear face masks and follow face shield regulations.
- Contactless and cashless transactions will be encouraged.
