Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began early this year, traveling has been limited to essential travels, repatriations, and emergencies. Vacation plans had to be canceled, trips had to be rescheduled, and flights were postponed.
While many were disappointed because they had looked forward to their local and international travels for quite some time, everyone still understood the need to reschedule. Health, after all, should always be a number one priority. (Read: How do you eat healthy while in quarantine? We asked a nutritionist-dietician!)
But of course, we can’t help but think of all the sights we would have seen and visited, and the food that we would have eaten if our plans pushed through. Luckily, many online businesses have now opened to cater to our cravings of both local and international delicacies. One of these businesses is Mister Sando, a food business that serves Japanese-style sandwiches!
For anyone who has visited Japan, it will surely be a trip down memory lane as Mister Sando sandwiches taste similar to those you would get at a convenience store. And for people who are yet to visit, or had to cancel their visit to Japan, having a taste of these sandwiches will make you look forward to when the pandemic is over and you finally get to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun! Mister Sando currently has eight items on their menu. It’s reminiscent of the sandwiches you can get at any convenience store in Tokyo, which seems to be in almost every corner. So while we can’t go to Tokyo to eat the authentic grab-and-go snack, you can still satisfy your cravings by ordering from Mister Sando! Here’s their menu.
