On his YouTube vlog, the multi-talented comedian opened up about where he might have contracted the deadly coronavirus.
At first, Michael V assumed that he might have contracted the virus when he and his family went to Batangas in early July. But he was a little skeptical because his children, who had close contact with him during the travel, tested negative from COVID-19.
This brings him to his conclusion that he might have contracted it from deliveries. It comes as he found out that one of their four kasambahays has also tested positive for COVID-19, but was asymptomatic. (Read: Can you get coronavirus from packaged shipments?)
“Ang duda ko, deliveries. Pero FYI, lahat ng deliveries na dumadating, hindi nakakapasok dito sa studio nang hindi sina-sanitize,” says Michael V. “Pero dahil siguro sa sobrang excited ko na mabuo ‘tong studio ko, palagay ko may mga online deliveries akong nabuksan tapos diretso ginamit ko na agad.” he added.

Now, Michael V takes double precaution when handling packages. He even shared it in his YouTube video. “Kaya ang advice ko sa mga mahilig mag pa-delivery please lang, maniguro kayo,” he said.
The comedian then advised everyone to be extra careful, “Sa ngayon doble na ang dinadaanan ng deliveries namin,” he shared. “Una, sina-sanitize, tapos ine-sterilize ng UV light, hindi lang yung packaging pero pati yung laman at bawat pag binubukasan ko, lalo yung bago, nag susuot nako ng mask at nag lilinis na ako ng kamay before and after kong hawakan.”
“Komedyante po ako by profession, pero makinig po sana kayo ‘pag sinabi kong hindi biro ang magka-COVID,” he added.
