Just as we enter the new year, K-drama fans are met with good news as media outlets revealed that Crash Landing On You’s Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are a couple. (Read: 3 Korean Dishes to Relive Your Best K-Drama Moments)

The news broke on the early morning of January 1, and has since been confirmed by the stars’ respective managements, MStream Entertainment and Vast Entertainment. Turns out, the K-drama idols, who are both aged 38, have been dating for almost eight months now. According to a source close to the two, their relationship started around March— months after wrapping up the filming of Crash Landing On You

Eugene and Ki Tae Young started their relationship through the K-drama Seeking Love in 2010. And with their then-newfound love, the couple took things further by tying the knot in 2011. In April 2015, the couple gave birth to their first daughter, Rohee, who was followed by their second child, Ro Run, in August 2018.
