For some, having a successful career, a loving family, and an unforgettable legacy is already the definition of a perfect life. However, even those who already have these things might feel like something is missing—and more often than not, it is having a deeper purpose in life.

As cliché as it may sound, finding your life’s purpose can indeed help you to have a better, happier, and more positive outlook in life. Just look at Side A’s former band member Joey Benin who is now a full-time church minister. (Read: Meet the ‘Raketero’ Who Found His Life Purpose With Esakay)

Benin joined Side A back in 1986 when he was only in his senior year at the University of the Philippines College of Music. He became the band’s bassist for 21 years. And according to him, that was a decision that he never regrets even up to this day.

“If this pandemic situation gets better, Rodel wants to go home again and the original Side A members will get ready for a reunion show,” Benin said.

It also can be recalled that  Side A’s original soloist, Rodel Gonzalez, left the band to be a full-time church minister back in 1990.
