How do you ask someone how she/he is doing?

In the Philippines, we do not just merely say “how are you?” when checking up on someone we care about. Pinoys usually say, Kamusta ka? Kumain ka na? (How are you? Have you eaten yet?) when expressing concern, and it can come in different dialects, too!
