As the country tries to stop the spread of COVID-19 and strict stay-at-home orders are in place, many people find themselves grappling with the “new normal” that was brought about by the health crisis. This also raises the question: What should we do while we’re stuck at home?
While we can always turn on the TV and start binge-watching our favorite shows, it only scratches the surface. Bea Alonzo: ‘Focus on how your home makes you feel’

In the YouTube video, Bea explains that she moved to the house in 2012 and has been personally furnishing her home along with her friends. The two-storey house is filled with different artworks by local artists, and chic beautiful chairs and sofas. However, according to Bea, she doesn’t follow an exact theme in her home because she wanted to focus on the things that make her at home.
“I think, kasi parang sometimes, you get caught up on what theme to follow. I feel like we should not focus on the theme that much, but focus on how our home makes us feel,” Bea said.
Maris Racal: ‘Your home should reflect your personality’
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Maris Racal also took her YouTube subscribers into a virtual tour of her newly-renovated home. According to the Kapamilya actress, she worked with Carell Garcia of CG Design Construct during the renovation, making sure that her home will reflect her quirky personality and love for the arts.
“Fun fact, ako lang nag-design nito. Ganito yung colors niya.. kasi ito yung time na sobrang addict ko pa sa Nordic home and I’m kind of growing out of it na—but wala akong choice, I have to live with it,” she shared about her bedroom.
