Hidilyn Diaz Inspires Children to Dream High With New Book About Her Life

The Filipina athlete says the book is to inspire young children to "dream high" and "work hard because there is no instant in life."

If there’s one thing kids do best, it’s using their wild imagination to dream big! And as adults, it is our great responsibility to help them achieve and realize their dreams. It’s our unspoken oath to foster their passions and give them a safe environment to find and express themselves.

It may sound difficult, but we can do this by instilling in them some simple habits—such as reading books. Not only that it brings you closer to your children, but reading positive and dreamy books to them can help them aim for possibilities that can bring significant benefits to their lives. Building Hope, Instilling Dreams

Titled as Ginto’t Pilak, Hidilyn’s book is a collaboration with renowned children’s book writer Eugene Evasco and talented illustrator Tristan Yuvienco.

“This book is the story of my life to inspire the younger generation to dream high and tell them to reach their dream but they have to work hard because there is no instant in life,” said Hidilyn. “I hope you will get inspired by this book especially right now we are in Pandemic—we need inspiration, hope, and care.”

Ginto’t Pilak is published under Anvil Publishing and is written in the Filipino language for children to better understand the story. It will be available at Anvil Publishing’s online shop, Lazada, and Shopee for only P99.
