After wowing us—and the world—with the On The Job: The Missing 8 (which won for John Arcilla the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 78th Venice International Film Festival), acclaimed director Erik Matti returns with another compelling project on HBO Go.
Airing on November 14 is the second season of Folklore, an anthology series whose episodes highlight the myths and superstitions of countries across Asia. (Read: ‘Trese’ is Amazing – And That Includes the Filipino Dubbing!)

Folkore Season 2’s other episodes will be directed by Shih Han Liao of Taiwan; Seiko Matsuda of Japan; Sittisiri Mongkolsiri of Thailand; Billy Christian of Indonesia; and Nicole Midori Woodford of Singapore.
His episode focuses on the albularyo (faith healer).
In “7 Days of Hell,” a sorcerer casts a sickness spell upon the son of a policewoman. Dolly de Leon and Roshson Barman star.
