WarnerMedia has recently confirmed a seven-episode second season of its HBO Asia Original horror anthology series, Folklore. Each installment will feature stories from different Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and of course, the Philippines.

Erik Matti Films: Seklusyon
Seklusyon is Erik Matti’s movie entry for the 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival back in 2016, where it won nine categories, including the Best Director award. The film is a supernatural horror-thriller film that was set in 1947. It stars Rhed Bustamante, Neil Ryan Sese, Ronnie Alonte, Lou Veloso, Phoebe Walker, and Dominic Roque.
Erik Matti Films: Honor Thy Father
Honor Thy Father was an official entry to the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival in 2015. The film is a thriller crime drama that follows a family who was part of a Ponzi scheme. During the awards night, Honor Thy Father won five awards, including the Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress Awards for Matti, John Lloyd Cruz, and Meryll Soriano, respectively. Following a win at the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival, Honor Thy Father has earned several distinctions both from local and international film festivals, including the New York Asian Film Festival and Neuchatel Fantastic Film Festival. Honor Thy Father was also hailed as the Movie of the Year during the 32nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies in 2016.
Erik Matti Films: Buybust
Buybust is an action thriller film that tells a realistic story about the struggles and danger of being part of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). The movie was given the Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Music recognition during the 42nd Gawad Urian in 2019. It stars Anne Curtis, Brandon Vera, Victor Neri, Arjo Atayde, and Nonie Buencamino.
