They also have a security feature to ensure that no delivery rider gets pranked!

With online businesses and food delivery booming because of the COVID-19 pandemic, delivery services are in demand to provide quality service to both customers and sellers alike.

And because of the increasing demand, established couriers are expanding to other provinces and cities in the country. (Read: FoodPanda Expands to 12 Cities Outside Metro Manila) New delivery services have also been born, one of which is DeliRush food delivery app.

DeliRush started in the southern part of Metro Manila—Las Piñas, Parañaque, and Muntinlupa—as a food delivery service that caters to micro and small businesses around the area. But since many have been patronizing its services, DeliRush has expanded to the entire National Capital Region in October.

An Affordable Alternative

What sets DeliRush apart from its more popular and long-established competitors? The answer is that the new food delivery service offers lower commission rates so that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) do not have to put out a lot of money just to get their products onto the platform. It also allows consumers to purchase food at a reasonable price.

This proved to be a selling point of the app, as DeliRush has already been downloaded over 8,000 times and already has over a hundred Rushers—their riders—in just a span of five months! (Read: Govt Plans to Provide Food Aid to at-Risk Pregnant Women, Children)

Support for Riders and Businesses

Many have been commending DeliRush for their support for small businesses, the great deals, and making sure that scammers and pranksters don’t get to fool their riders. (Read: Prank No More: House Bill to Penalize Cancelled Food Delivery Orders)

The added security for riders is done through the app’s ID verification feature which requires customers to take a photo of their valid ID to confirm their identity.

And not just that, DeliRush also offers “lower than store prices” for some of their partner establishments like Potato Corner, Tous Le Jours, and Goldilocks—so customers can enjoy their favorite food at a more affordable price!

DeliRush User Reviews

Because of their satisfaction with DeliRush, users have left positive comments and five-star ratings on the App Store and Google Playstore. One review said, “DeliRush is convenient, fast, and has more food choices!” Another said that they experienced efficient and safe delivery, which was also free of charge. It is also evident that the developers behind the app listen to the feedback of the users, as one reviewer mentioned that the recent update of the app has been working better than when they previously tried to use it. “Had problems when I tried it out a few weeks ago but it’s now fixed. Very recommendable!” the customer wrote.
