With all the drama that goes with being a celebrity, it is often believed that long-lasting friendships are almost impossible in show business. While this might be true, there’s still the famous celebrity buddies Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, and Dimples Romana who have managed to keep their friendship strong through the years. The dynamic quartet is definitely a definition of #SquadGoals—and it shows even amid the COVID-19 pandemic! Recently, Dimples shared a screengrab of her video call with Bea, Anne, and Angel on her Instagram account as proof of their ever-growing friendship.
In the caption, the ‘Daytime Teleserye Queen’ expressed her love for the actresses and shared how despite the difference in their time zones, “the most empowering women” she knows still made time for them to catch up and bond.

Angel, Bea, Dimples, and Anne indeed share an admirable friendship that was strengthened by their years of working together, helping one another, and fighting for their individual advocacies. Here we list down three reasons why these four Kapamilya actresses are the ultimate #SquadGoals!
They Have Successful Careers.
It is a known fact that Angel, Anne, Bea, and Dimples are among the most sought after actresses of this generation. With their unparalleled successes both in TV and the big screen, these four have already established a name for themselves.
With her iconic portrayal of the Pinoy Superhero “Darna,” Angel Locsin is being tagged as the “Real-Life Darna”, while Anne Curtis is being dubbed as the “Pambansang Diyosa” which is also based from her iconic role. Bea Alonzo, on the other hand, has earned the titles “Queen of Primetime Bida” and the “New Generation’s Movie Queen.” Dimples Romana also made noise for her fierce portrayal of “Daniela Mondragon” in the afternoon drama series, Kadenang Ginto.
The actresses also had their chance to work together. Anne and Bea were lead stars in the 2007 series Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik while Bea and Angel starred in the classic film Four Sisters and a Wedding which was released in 2013. Dimples did get to star with Bea in 2007 in the blockbuster movie One More Chance.
Their Friendship Surpasses Tides.
The bond between these stars is certainly delightful to see. When Bea once went through a rough patch with her relationship, the girls helped her through her healing journey. Bea, Angel, and Anne, together with their co-actress and friend Angelica Panganiban, even shared a now-viral photo of their sisterly closeness off-cam. Dimples is also very thankful for Angel, who has continually helped and supported her in difficult times. The actress shared on Instagram how Angel was there for her when her husband Boyet was hospitalized. Dimples said that when her spouse has been in and out of the hospital, Angel was there to perform her “ninang duties” by taking care of Dimples’ son, Alonzo Romeo Jose.
They Give Back to Communities.
Over the course of the quarantine period, Angel, Bea, Dimples, and Anne have been visibly active in helping communities. They have brought #SquadGoals into another level by using their voices and platforms to encourage people to help and donate. (Read: Angel, Anne, Dimples team up to boost mass testing in the country )
Last March, Angel together with Dimples launched the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign to provide tents that will serve as isolation areas for patients and sleeping quarters to frontliners. The project garnered P11.35 million in donations and has set up 246 sanitary, safe, and stylish tents in different hospitals in the country.
Anne, on the other hand, had her own share in helping in the pandemic through her make-up brand, BLK cosmetics. The Just A Stanger lead actress donated hundreds of face masks to express her gratitude to our brave frontliners in keeping the country safe and healthy.
Meanwhile, Bea has also been busy working with her humanitarian organization, “I am Hope,” which she co-founded with actress Rina Navarro. In the past months, Bea has prepared meals to feed stranded students, raised funds to provide for the needs of frontliners, and donated over 100 relief bags and medical supplies to Pasig City.
Aside from these individual initiatives, Angel, Bea, Dimples, and Anne have also teamed up to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Last month, the premiere actresses collaborated for the “2020 Shop & Share” initiative which aims to gather celebrities in raising funds for mass testing in the country.
