Anne Curtis, blk cosmetics to donate pampering face masks for frontliners

Now here's a much deserved pampering for our modern-day heroes!

As our frontliners selflessly care for their patients, many of them are being pushed beyond their limits. Not only are they vulnerable to the virus, they are also under enormous strain at work.

Working 24/7 can cause emotional and physical fatigue to our frontliners. That’s why it’s important to take care of them while they look after others. After all, our frontliners deserve pampering, too!

To heed the call, Anne Curtis’ makeup brand blk cosmetics will be giving our frontliners face masks — not the surgical ones, but those meant to pamper the skin.

“The past couple of months, while uncertain and scary, have shown our front liners strength and heroism. We can’t thank them enough for helping us stay safe and healthy. We strongly admire their courage in stepping up in these challenging times. We see you and we’re here for you.” Curtis said in her announcement on Instagram today, May 12.

The past couple of months, while uncertain and scary, have showed our front liners strength and heroism. We can’t thank them enough for helping us stay safe and healthy. We strongly admire their courage in stepping up in these challenging times. We see you and we’re here for you. In partnership with @dreammachineph , we’re sending over a special product we’ve been working on for almost a year with the goal of promoting self-care—our blk Fresh face masks. We hope this small token will add a dose of sunshine to your everyday routine. : @blkcosmeticsph has also partnered with e-commerce giant Lazada for the Lazada For Good campaign in time for our blk Fresh collection release. For every P1,299 worth of blk items purchased through the Lazada website from May 13 to 15, 2020, shoppers get a P50 Lazada For Good voucher to fund anti-COVID-19 efforts. Your purchase can make a difference. We’re praying that we all will get through this even stronger. We’re grateful for what you do, always. Sending love, light and hope 💖

Curtis’ blk cosmetics developed the new blk Fresh face masks for almost a year, with the goal of “promoting self-care.”  The actress then decided to partner with Dream Machine Ph to pamper our frontliners with the new face masks.

“We hope this small token will add a dose of sunshine to your everyday routine.”

The new blk Fresh face masks will also be available in Lazada for the Lazada For Good campaign. Anne shared that for every P1,299 worth of blk items purchased through the Lazada website from May 13 to 15, 2020, shoppers will get at least P50 Lazada For Good voucher to fund anti-COVID-19 efforts.

The city government of Biñan is one in showing appreciation to its health care workers in the frontlines against COVID-19. On April 8, The local government unit gave out free massages and other forms of pampering to their local frontliners who have been serving heavy shifts. Precautionary measures such as social distancing, wearing of gloves, face masks, and hair nets were of course observed by the therapists.
