Home Entertainment ‘Big Bad Wolf,’ the world's biggest book sale, is returning to Manila.

‘Big Bad Wolf,’ the world’s biggest book sale, is returning to Manila.

Following last year’s successful sales in Manila, Cebu, and Davao, Big Bad Wolf – known as the biggest book sale in the world – will be coming back to the Philippines this year with over 2 million new books and big discounts of up to 90% off.

Founder Jacqueline Ng said in an interview that this year’s selection will be a lot “better” than last year. “We change [the selection for every country]. The thing is, if we go for the first time, we don’t know. We estimate or we presume certain things. So now we have actual sales history to show us, so we’ll be better in selecting books for Filipinos,” she said.

Jacqueline also confirmed that for this year, the book sales will be staffed by people from Gawad Kalinga (GK) communities. It could be remembered that last year, Big Bad Wolf donated P5 million to help GK in their efforts to build libraries and provide access to quality books in their communities.

Big Bad Wolf will be running for 11 days, from February 22 to March 4, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Admission is free and the sale will be open for 24 hours.
