We do not often see how celebrities are off-camera, in their houses, or with their family and friends. We would only see what they let us see when they post pictures on their social media accounts or videos on their YouTube channels, and these happen rarely as many celebrities choose to be private about their personal lives.
But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, more celebrities are choosing to share what happens in their daily lives during the quarantine. Some post on Instagram stories while others share videos on YouTube or write about it on Twitter.
One of these celebrities who share their life behind the camera is Marvin Agustin. Ever since the start of the community quarantine, the actor-chef-entrepreneur has been sharing his experiments in the kitchen. Marvin also puts Filipino twists onto his dishes due to the lack of some ingredients—but all the same, it surely looks mouthwatering! (Read: 4 Online Food Businesses by Your Favorite Celebrities)
This is why we scanned through his Instagram and YouTube to watch some of his cooking videos and share it with you. We’ll be linking the videos as well for you to follow.

In an episode on his YouTube channel, Marvin shared his own version of the popular Singaporean chili crab. - Canned tomatoes
- Green tomato jam
- Crabs, steamed

And not just that, in his tutorial, the actor-chef is seen picking fresh basil from his backyard for this pasta—it’s one of his herbs that he grows at home! How cool is that?
- Basil leaves
- Butter, melted
- Oile oil
- Cayenne pepper
- Lemon juice, optional
