‘Ang Huling El Bimbo’ Premieres on TFC in September

Not just one, but two versions of the hit musical will be released!

The iconic Filipino musical that is based on the musical hits of the 90s band Eraserheads, Ang Huling El Bimbo, will have its international debut through The Filipino Channel (TFC).

The musical made its first online debut via two-day streaming at YouTube and ABS-CBN social media during the start of the community quarantine. Its release, a fundraising campaign for the benefit of the families affected by the pandemic, immediately became a hit. Within just 48 hours, Ang Huling El Bimbo was able to garner over 7 million views and raise more than P12 million.  (Read:5 Must-Watch Movies Starring Elijah Canlas)


Ang Huling El Bimbo has received numerous praise from netizens during its local online streaming. And now, Filipinos outside the country will have the chance to enjoy it as well! (Read: 4 Apps Where You Can Watch Original Filipino Films )

Thanks to TFC, Filipinos abroad will now have the chance to watch the well-loved original Filipino musical for via pay-per-view from September to November. The service will be available in Australia, Canada, Japan, the Middle East, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
