Here’s where you can still access ABS-CBN content after the shutdown

If you're a solid Kapamilya, check ABS-CBN's other channels and platforms to get the latest news and updates.

On May 5, 2020, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) served a cease and desist order to ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation. ABS-CBN, one of the Philippines’s biggest networks, had to go off-air the same day. All their free, local TV channels including ABSCBN Channel 2, ABSCBN Sports and Action, and DZMM TeleRadyo had to sign off.

The NTC explained that the cease and desist order was because the network is offering pay-per-view services on channels such as Kapamilya Box Office (KBO), which is not part of their contract. But with the network going off-air, the public has lost one of the reliable sources of news and information, and one of the main sources of entertainment.

ABS-CBN Sports and Action

If you are one of those who love to watch volleyball matches or basketball games, you can still get your daily dose on ABS-CBN Sports and Action’s website. They have videos of various games from the UAAP, NCAA, and more.

ABS-CBN Social Media Accounts

You can follow them on Instagram and Twitter (news, sports, entertainment), or like their Facebook pages (news, sports, lifestyle). They also have YouTube channels (news, sports, entertainment) where you can watch your favorite videos.

iWant is ABS-CBN’s streaming service. Kapamilya fans can access over 1,000 films, original series, documentaries, and other entertainment videos. You can check their website out or download the app on iOS and Android.

In addition, ANC News Channel is still on air as it is a cable news channel.
