A Prayer for the Holy Week

Have a meaningful Lent at home with this short prayer.

This week, we commemorate the Passion of Christ through the Holy Week. Masses, novenas, and a series of pabasa will be done for the next few days.

But if you can’t attend any of these, especially with the pandemic, here is a prayer you can recite at home on your own time for the Holy Week. (Read: 3 Ways to Observe Holy Week While on Lockdown)

A Prayer for the Holy Week

Jesus my Lord, let me strengthen my courage by taking on the courage of all those people who have been “centurions” for me. Many have faced disasters and hard times with great constancy. The upper hand of evil never turned them against you. They kept going. Let me be like them, Lord. No matter what the cross, let me never stop declaring you to be the truly Son of God, the source of my hope, the reason why I will never quit on life. Amen.
