Having a toothache is troublesome and very painful. And for many of us, going to dentist appointments could be scary and sometimes even traumatic. With this, it is comforting to know that you can always call on God for guidance during a dental.
Here are 3 prayers to get you through. (Read:
Prayer for people suffering dental pain
I pray for you and anyone suffering from any
kind of dental pain or facial pain. I have
suffered all year from facial pain and teeth
extractions from different dentists. Im still
on so much pain and I pray the Lord will heal
us and forgive us our sins. I pray the Lord
surround us with his guardian angels against any
evil chains that someone may have done. I ask the Lord to touch me face with his hands and heal us. I know the Lord will.
Prayer of Dentists
Our heavenly Father, as we begin this day, we bring your holy presence into this workplace. Grant us your peace, your grace, and your mercy as we prepare for our work today. Be with us as we practice dentistry and care for all of those who will place their trust in us.
Lord, we thank you for our many talents, skills, and opportunities you have entrusted each of us with to do this work. May we use these gifts to fulfill your will, that each of us be gracious, compassionate, and joyful servants to each other, and to all of those we will care for today.
Lord, grant in us the power of the Holy Spirit to be our guide as we diagnose, treat, and council, so that our hearts and minds may always see and speak the truth, and that our hands may always be instruments of your love.
Also Lord, we ask that you bless our families and watch over them, each day, as we do all of this in the name of Jesus, we pray.
Prayer to St. Apollonia, patron saint of dentists
“O Glorious Apollonia, patron saint of dentistry and refuge to all those suffering from diseases of the teeth, I consecrate myself to thee, beseeching thee to number me among thy clients. Assist me by your intercession with God in my daily work and intercede with Him to obtain for me a happy death. Pray that my heart like thine may be inflamed with the love of Jesus and Mary, through Christ our Lord. Amen. 0 My God, bring me safe through temptation and strengthen me as thou didst our own patron Apollonia, through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
