Today marks the feast day of pope-turned-saint John Paul II, who served as the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State.

On his feast day, the Catholics around the world commemorate his holiness and teachings through different ways, and one of them is preparing some of his favorite dishes!
