Stay motivated and inspired with these words from the Bible!

The ongoing global crisis has brought out feelings of anxiety and defeat in many of us. Because of the challenges that we face in these difficult times, many are forced to deal with negativities and uncertainties in their lives.

For some, the mental and physical stress of trying to keep their livelihood afloat amid the pandemic has already taken a toll on them. Many are also confronted by the health crisis head-on, struggling to keep their loved ones safe from the virus that is COVID-19. Meanwhile, there are those who are left grappling to keep up with their life’s commitments—studies, work, faith, among others—despite the uncertainties of the new normal. As each of us deal with personal struggles amid the pandemic, may we find comfort and light in the Lord’s loving arms. Here are 10 Bible verses to keep you motivated whenever stress and anxiety start to get the best of you.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1 Peter 4:12
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange was happening to you.

1 Peter 5:10
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.
